In 2008, following President Arturo Condo's initiative, the INCAE Founders' Circle is created, with the idea of strengthening ties with Harvard and INCAE's North American community as well as Latin American leaders who made possible the birth of this prestigious institution.

George Cabot Lodge, Professor Emeritus at Harvard, accepted the invitation of President Condo to preside the INCAE Founders' Circle and since its inception has served as Chairman of this important group.

Annual meetings are held since 2008 to celebrate those who laid the foundations of what we know today as the best business school in Latin America and the think tank of greater value in the region.

Fourth Meeting

Alajuela, Costa Rica. 2011

The fourth Founders' Circle meeting was held on May 25, 2011 at INCAE's Campus in Alajuela, Costa Rica. During this meeting Professor Esteban Brenes made a presentation on the findings during the first year of research of the Agribusiness Strategy Chair, created with the first seven digits gift received by Steve J. Aronson, founder of Café Britt, as part of the Illuminate Campaign.

The event revolved around the founders, and special awards were presented to Wickham Skinner, Professor Emeritus at Harvard, and Walter Kissling Gam+, second President of the Board of INCAE, in the person of his daughter Alexandra Kissling Jimenez, a graduate of the founding class of CALI, and member of the National Committee of INCAE in Costa Rica.

Additionally, this event served to recognize graduates of the PAG I and PAG V, members of the National Committees during the founding years and founding faculty that attended.
