Founders' Circle
In 2008, following President Arturo Condo's initiative, the INCAE Founders' Circle is created, with the idea of strengthening ties with Harvard and INCAE's North American community as well as Latin American leaders who made possible the birth of this prestigious institution.
George Cabot Lodge, Professor Emeritus at Harvard, accepted the invitation of President Condo to preside the INCAE Founders' Circle and since its inception has served as Chairman of this important group.
Annual meetings are held since 2008 to celebrate those who laid the foundations of what we know today as the best business school in Latin America and the think tank of greater value in the region.
Second Meeting
Antigua, Guatemala. 2009

The second Founders' Circle Meeting was held on April 23, 2009. The celebration highlighted the first 45 years of the first program in which INCAE was born, the Advanced Management Program (AMP), known throughout Latin America as INCAE's flagship program, the PAG .
The meeting was held in the city of Antigua, Guatemala with the presence of the National Committee represented by Danilo Siekavizza, the meeting's host. The event began with a luncheon, followed by two presentations, by INCAE Professors Alberto Trejos and Julio Sergio Ramirez, both sending a message of urgency about the need to create mechanisms to resolve the leadership crisis in America.
In a formal and emotional ceremony in the afternoon, the participation of three key leaders who participated in the creation of the institution was recognized:
-
George Cabot Lodge, chairman of the Founders' Circle, as the young and energetic teacher who made possible the creation of INCAE.
-
Juan Maegli, Guatemalan, HBS student at the time, who worked with George in identifying leaders and locations to start the discussion on what could become INCAE.

These seven leaders were not only interested in the executive program Harvard Business School was offering at the time, but also were united in the belief and decision to create an institution that would change the course of this region. These seven graduates were:
