
INCAE started the celebration of its 50th Anniversary
Nicaragua, March 7, 2014.
INCAE Business School, the renowned business school in LatinAmerica, began its 50th anniversary celebration on Thursday March 6 at the Francisco de Sola campus in Nicaragua, which will run throughout 2014 in nine other Latin American countries and four U.S. cities.
Over 300 graduates, 100 entrepreneurs and 100 governments, embassies and cooperation organizations allies, along with the entire family of the INCAE associated, gathered at the Francisco de Sola campus, located in the city of Managua, to be part of the first commemoration, which featured the internationally renowned animation artist, singer Luis Enrique.
Arturo Condo, INCAE Rector, reiterated that the mission of the institution is true after 50 years, for its focus on the development of the region through leadership training, applied research and promoting dialogue between the private and public sector and civil society. The Rector also noted that INCAE will continue deepening its contribution to social and economic development of the region with analysis, studies and training in the future.
"We hope that all Nicaraguans, Central and Latin Americans will join us in this Latin American celebration from their countries, share a sense of belonging to an institution that, beyond training, transforms professionals. INCAE transforms people to transform Latin America, " said Condo.
During the celebration, INCAE honored nine founders and members of national committees for their invaluable contribution to INCAE, which has allowed the strengthening of the institution and its position as the topbusiness school in Latin America.
This March 6, the new website of INCAE was launched, it is dedicated to the 50th Anniversary, which goes through the story of INCAE and major milestones and is dedicated to those who built the Institutionand promotes the Illuminate campaign.
During 2014, INCAE Business School will conduct various activities in which it will recognize the work of its graduates and the input of different allies that contributed to the development of the school and its impact on the region.Since its foundation on August 7, 1964 INCAE has been recognized as the leading Business School in Latin America, with a unique learning methodology that forms ethical professionals with vision, leadership and the ability to positively transform their environment to encourage sustainable development and improving the quality of life in the countries where they live.About INCAE Business School.
